I have an old model which I have owned for more years than I can remember. The old 3 screw 357 mag comes with a history. Ruger searched back threw some ATF files and found that in or around 1958 this gun was used in a killing in a Boston court house. Back then un like today the guns were not destroyed, but were given a new ATF s/n.The gun has a finish on it now that is called blue ice (tupperware coating). This by no means is a safe queen as I was told it has no more value than a regular Ruger of the same kind maybe less. I shoot it all the time. Just wanted to share something I don't think you come across every day.
