Can a person get so good at bump firing an AR15, or AK47 that they can do it at will, all the time, from shoulder position? Are these possible?

It's posible, but don't expect much in the way of accuracy; for "bump-firing" to work, you have to hold the rifle out in mid-air (off the shoulder), so it bounces back and forth off of your finger, so you're really just dumping shots in a general direction. I'd be more concerned about someone who takes their time to get a sight picture, since you KNOW he's likely to hit what he's aiming at.

What he said.
I've got enough trigger time on a real (full auto or burst capable) M16/M4 that I can generally keep all my rounds on target or pretty much so within about 20-30 yards even just holding the trigger down for some long bursts.
Doing the same thing bumpfiring is another thing cause you're basically shaking the rifle around. Take an extra second, aim and fire off a controlled pair. You'll actually hit something.
From paintball, and time at the target range, i found you can rack off shots pretty fast with shooting with your middle finger
