two many glock 19s not enough

just want to say iam new to this board and wanted to ask is two many glock19s not enough?i currenty own 2( one made in 2000 with adjustable sights and one made in 2003 with fixed sights) and might trade for a third one.how many do you own or am i just crazy;P

Just picked up my third a few weeks ago. Already had one for me and one that lives in my wife's purse but I have a "problem" and can't stop :) I liked the smooth finish they used to use on the slide a lot more than what they're using now, but still a damn fine pistol.

i carry at least 2 of them everyday so i wanted a spare
I am about to buy a fourth so i wil have two sets for carry so when i go tho the range and want to shoot two i will always have two clean and ready to go.

My suggestion is to get a third one and also get rid of the adjustible sights if htese are carry guns. also i would replace them with trijicons

I only have one...but it gets roughly 4-5 hundred rounds shoved down the tube a week!

my 2000 model has about 2100 rounds thru it with only one jam at about the 2000 mark with cheap wolf ammo.seem like the extractor dug right into the steel casing and had to gently pull it out the slide well.still thats alot better than other 9,s ive owned that costed twice as much that wouldnt even fire cheap ammo at all like wolf.my other one which is a 2003 era model has about 280 rounds thru it and still is a virgin in terms of round count.i just cant get enough of these addictive glock 19s

Yeah, you're an absolute loon...you only need two third generation Glock 19s, one second generation, and to complete the "perfect frame" collection: a Glock 32 and 38. ;)

There was a nice article on Russian steel cased ammo in one of the rags. The author was making long arms in Soviet 7.62 and the 5.45. Indications are the chambers for steel cased ammo need to be polished to a certain finish to work well. Most non-com block weapons are not made for the stuff and will cause some issues eventually.

The new polymer coated stuff with nickel over steel might be a different animal altogether?

I dont know...i have seen several guns that have only seen wolf ammo and i mean thousands of rounds,and there is absolutly zero evidence of any ill effects except red paint on the breech face from the primer seal. There ammo is not laquer coated anymore so now that worry is gone, plus i called glock and was told that id did not void their waranty, and furthermore they have not had nor heard of a wolf related problem with thier guns. I personaly think alot of this crap about how bad wolf is...is internet BS

I own a pair of 19's and plan to buy a third soon. I also have a pair of 26's, and I plan to acquire a couple of 17's next year as well. I'm sold on the Glock 9mm platform. At one time or another I've owned a Glock in every caliber except .380 .
