Grip mod to fit a Pearce on a PM9?

I read here that the grip has to be slightly sanded down to fit the Pearce finger extension. On Pearce's website it shows a PM9 with them on but makes no mention of having to do any type of modification. So my question is do I, or do I not have to modify anything? *Edit* just saw the post about the trigger reset problems.

I use the Pearce extensions for my PM9 and did not have to make any modifications. I highly recommend them for extra shooting comfort and control. I don't really notice the extra length in carrying it either.
