I have a MK9 and I use

OWB from K & D Holsters (pretty snake skin custom with my initials)
really should check him out.

IWB from Hideawayholsters - but I have one coming from K & D in a week or two to replace this one.

I highly recommend Kevin at K & D - great prices and great quality

Just got a Fist "tucker" holster. Very pleased with it. Gun is a CW9.

I use it strong side but it can be adjusted to function as a cross draw.

It can be ordered with a variety of belt attachments to suit the user.

Not cheap - but quality rarely is.

I use a Fobus #C21B paddle most of the time and also an Unckle Mikes pancake.
Both have their place, depends on what I might be wearing.

PM9 pocket in a Mitch Rosen (http://www.mitchrosen) PSF (Pocket Softy), not cheap at $105, but check the "Express line for one about 1/2 that price. Also check the Milt Sparks (http://www.miltsparks.com) PCH pocket holsters.
PM9 magazine in a Milt Sparks PCH-M off side pocket holder OR
in a plainly labeled black nylon cordura Leather Tool pouch (with a stainless belt hook, avail online from Leatherman).

MK9 OWB in a Mitch Rosen UPL (Upper Limit).
MK9 magazine and SureFire E2 in a Mitch Rosen SOS

Tucker Gunleather CoverUp Plus when I need to tuck. This is a tuckable IWB with adjustable cant, ride height and retention.

DonHume IWB when I don't need to tuck.

Fobus Paddle sometimes for open carry. Used last year at Christmas time in AZ.

Spare Mag in a Black Nylon Flap holder that "looks like a knife sheath." Hidden in plain sight. It may be an Uncle Mikes but I am not sure.

Just picked up my P40 Covert last Sat. It fits in both of the IWB but not the Fobus.

My MK40 fits in all of the above.

Also get a good gunbelt. I recommend one from www.thebeltman.net .

For now it's been a Uncle Mike's size 3. I am waiting on a High Noon Hidden Ally IWB tuckable which should arrive tommorow. If I like it I will end up ordering the Hidden Impact. They are the same design, they just are made of different matierials. I just though I would buy the cheap version first. The nice thing about High Noon is their satisfaction guarantee. You can actually use it and still return it if your not satisfied. Most other holster makers will not allow it to be returned if you have worn it.

I love the Fist Kydex # 2 High Rise. It conceals well, and it keeps
the Kahr P9 close to my side. It makes for a decent draw, and it
is absolutely quiet!

I have three for my pm9.

big +1 on the Fist kydex #2 high rise. Love it and the end of the slide is just about even with the bottom of my belt so it's very concealable. I also can wear this with just a loose tee shirt or a button down with the shirttail out. Carrys the pistol very close.

I also have a Comptac Pro Undercover. IWB very comfortable and easy on and off. Also it stays where I put it with no shifting.

Finally I have the Kramer Confidant for times when nothing else will work. It is the tee shirt with the holster built in. Very ultra concealable.

By the way I bought the comp-tac and the fist from gunners alley http://www.gunnersalley.com/

They've always give me excellent service and have good prices. Just thought I'd pass that along.

I really like the Galco IWB USA model. http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterT3.asp?ProductID=2240&CatalogID=7

It's very comfortable and is the ultimate in concealment.

I've tried a PM9 in a Kramer Confidant but the grip didn't seem to stay tucked close to my body. Even with the Velcro fastened it kind of flopped outward. I think if the barrel were longer it might stay more upright and tuck the grip in. I've had better luck with a Kangaroo holster for this type of use.

What has your experience been?

I had to stitch up the back of the shirt so that it fit tighter (real snug) than it originally came.

I have been looking at the kangaroo holster on the net lately thinking I'd like to try one. I'd never met anyone who owned one. I'm guessing that you like it.

My main complaint with the Kramer is that I have to wear an undershirt, the Kramer, and then my outershirt. The Confidant itches too much to wear without an undershirt. Plus the gun tends to shift as the shirt shifts.

The Kangaroo Holster seems like it would negate these problems. Who did you purchase yours from?

I bought mine directly from the fellow who makes them:

Link to Kangaroo (http://www.tidepoolwebdesigns.com/kangaroo/)

Here is a link to an earlier thread on GT where we were discussing it:

Link to thread (http://www.glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=418538&highlight=kangaroo)

I found that I needed to stitch the back of the Kangaroo (my wife called it a "dart") to flatten down the material that bunched up at the point where the elastic was attached and was pulling up. It was making kind of a bump in the back of my shirt but now that's gone. I also made a sleeve or casing out of beige colored flannel to cover the elastic shoulder strap. Made it much more comfortable than the raw elastic. A PM9 just disappears in it as long as the shirt isn't skin tight. I figured for the cost I could try one and experiment. Turns out I like it!

CTAC

K&D IWB sorry just plain black.

Nemesis

Fanny Pack I forgot where I got it. It was online.

The most comfortable is the leather. The CTAC is more all around but not as comfy. The pocket holster is not plesant but quick. The man purse I use when I wear scrubs.

I use a Mitch Rosen "Clipper" from the Kahr Website or a "Pocket Grabber" from High Noon. It all depends on the situation. The "Clipper" is best carried forward of the hip since it has no cant.

Take care and good luck. ;c :)

Hey bulbboy wanna see a magic trick. Take the clips off the tan holster and stuff it in your pocket. I tried it myself and I like it better than the nemesis. Better in pleated pants, but I pulled it off in jeans too. 3 days now and I'm pretty happy.

I have the very same rig, just lefty and black.

FIST, Inc. #1 IWB - Good price, excellent quality holster, and stand-up people to do business with.

My other favorite is the Don Hume IWB H715-M. Good looking, comfortable, great price (I think they still run about $25.00 for the budget-minded shopper).

Btw, I've tried OWB holsters, shoulder holsters, fanny packs, etc. Out of all the designs, IWB definitely conceals the best.

Alessi's watch six double talon (WSDT) is the greatest IWB holster ever conceived (IMHO). Milt Sparks also makes one called watch six (identical to Alessi's) and Lou Alessi supplies talon clips for Milt's holster. Milt's holster is available in horsehide which is considerably thinner than cowhide. Incidentally Lou assure me that his talon clips have a lifetime warranty againts breaking. There is another reason why this is a great holster - you can wear it outside of your pants and under the belt. Because there are double clips - the holster is stable and you don't have to thread the belt through it.
Another great holster is Blade-tech UCH (ultimate concealement holster). It is a Kydex unit with an S clip that not only allows you to tuck in your shirt but is also adjustable for cant.
Both are specifically made for MK steel Kahrs - I would assume that they are also availabel for PM models.
