500rnds today in my G31 - Zero problems!

So... I've had my Glock 31 for 3 weeks now.

Today I shot my 500th round of .357sig... 400 target stuff (Winchester Winclean and Remington) and 100 reloads.

All the while I have had the Wolff Gunsprings 22# spring installed (since I took it out of the box) and I have not had a single fail to Feed or Fail to Eject or anything else go wrong.

I am pretty happy (almost every gun I have bought I have experience some malfunction in the first 500).

The Glock 31 is also very accurate at 25yards (benched) and even at 50yards (groups open up of course). The coolest thing though is that I am not adjusting my point of aim - if I am it is very slight.

The .357sig is a real winner in my books! I love it.

However, because ammunition is kinda high in price, I have also ordered a Glock 22 barrel so that I have all my bases covered :)

.40S&W for range plinking + .357sig for long distance stuff all at the swap of a barrel.

I have just about 1000 rounds through my G31 so far with out a single problem. Great gun!!

Is there a break-in period on the G31?

I just got mine to the range and have only put maybe 150 rounds through her and the accuracy so far is horrible. Shoots all over the place. I shoot other pistols enough to know I am a better shot than that.
My thoughts were either it needed to be broken in or I just need to become familiar with my new weapon. Any thoughts?

My 32 has been very accurate, although I don't have but 200 rounds through it.

I've shot over 5000 rounds through my G22 and haven't had any trouble at all. I put 1000 or so rounds through my G27 with the same results! Glock's work! I'm going to get a G31 barrel for my G22 so I can try the 357 Sig. without buying a new gun! :)

Mr, if you are not used to shooting a glock it could be you just need some triger time. The glock trigers were hard for me to get used to after years of shooting 1911's and revolvers. Regards, Byron

That's probably the case. The trigger is very different than I'm used to.
Looks like I'll have to blow up hundreds of rounds until I get the hang of it. Tragedy.;f

I shot 100 rounds through my new G31 last night. I was going for "eyebox" and throat shots. At 25 yards the target definitely had no neck left.

i went to the range with my G31 yesterday and was laying down 2" groups at 7 yards off hand not using the sights. its probably the pistol im most accurate with at this point. using the sights at 7 yards it was putting rounds the the same hole more often then my p226 9mm or my p220 do. the only thing im gonna change is the trigger. NY 1 trigger spring, factory 3.5lb connector and a lightning strike Ti plunger.

I have about 6000 rds of .357 and about 8000 of .40 through my 31. Everything stock except for the sights. The pistols work. I've never had any issuses with it. In fact I switched to glock for IDPA and USPSA because I got tired of my 1911 going down all the time.
