View Full Version : Sigma SW357V pistols - where are they?
I saw a 357sig version of the S&W Sigma once at a gunshow several years ago, and haven't seen one since.
Where they go?

I have a 40VE and happen to like it. I bought one of the last 357 sig barrels from the S&W factory about 1 year ago. There were about 5 left after I bought mine, wish I had bought all of the remainder.
Funny thing, every thread I happen to open about the Sigma, spober has been right in front of me bashing them. Oh well, he hates them and I like them. I have carried my 40VE on more than one occassion and will do so in the future. No problems trusting my life to my Sigma.
spober: As always, your observations are informative, factually based, articulate and thought-provoking.
The Sigmas are fine if you give them a chance. I was torn between buying a Sigma or a compact Glock since I already have several Glocks. The Sigmas are attractive in my opinion, feel great (better than a Glock, that is) and well built. Any accuracy or reliabilty issues were fixed early on, but still have resulted in the Sigma being trashed by lots of folks.
The only bad thing I can say is that the trigger pretty much stinks, kind of like a Glock with 8-pound connector plus a NY trigger spring. I've been told it eases up after 500 rounds or so, but don't know if that's true...
