Recoil Spring for Kahr TP9

I am looking to buy an extra recoil spring for my Kahr TP9. Does it use the same recoil spring as a Kahr T9?

I called Kahr and was told that the recoil spring for the T9 fits the TP9. I was also told that recoil springs should be replaced every 1500 rounds. The larger outer spring on the PM9/PM40 is the recoil spring that needs to be replaced.
