What's your favorite PPK - /S holster

With the holidays coming, crime up at shopping malls, etc., I find myself carrying a lot more these days. I have a OWB paddle holster for my ppk/s. Looking for a comfortable IWB holster and am looking for your opinions. Also do you prefer something with retention? I always have this feeling that it will fall out without it? What's your favorite PPK / PPK/S holster? I need something new soon. Thanks.

I just got my Walther PPK/s today and ordered this holster for it...it's a convertable back-pocket/front-pocket holster by removing the back no-print panel.

I ordered the brown one, but I'm sure the black one is hot for them:

I've done a lot of research on pocket holsters and this one seemed to be the best for the money out there.

Is that the right hand draw model that's shown? I would imagine that would work in back right or front right pocket just as it is and not show a print?

Exactly, BK.

The way it's pictured is for the back pocket. Those 2 screws can be undone, taking off the large flat/back, and then used as a front-pocket holster. They refer to it as convertable and I'll probably mostly carry it in my back pocket. It is a RH version, as you slip your hand between the back, grab the weapon and pull it out...very smooth if you watch the demo on their website!

I have two:

My favorite is from Donner Gun Leather and is an IWB black with beautiful orange dyed Alligator trim. And if you have ever worn a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 this is just as or more comfortable than that!

Don Hume leather for me IWB and Pocket holsters. Can be ordered from company or else where. Each holster less than $30 Pocket holster in full time use IWB used maybe 10% of time. I always carry in front pocket rear never felt secure .

I agree, Michael...I have some pants that I wear that have velcro and some that have buttons on the rear pockets. Either way should be secure, but I'm sure I'll take the back panel off now and then and wear it in my front pocket.

I lost a mag one time carry in back pocket. Got home removed pistol no mag. opps Good thing I didn't need I only had 1 shot.
With front pocket I can be talking to you with thumbs hooked on pockets or have my hands in pocket kinda natural ready to go. Most guys don't stuff hands in back pocket . When I grew up we carried our switchblade in back pocket . Guess that why I go on alert with a guy starts feeling his butt.

Thanks to everyone for all the great options. I will definately get a pocket holster, just not sure which one yet. That looks like my best option for carrying the ppk/s. One question about the ones on pocketholster.com. With that removable back, wouldn't the gun print if the back is removed? I would think in your front pocket it would look like you have a wallet unless it won't fit in your front pocket. I would think because of the size of the gun that holster would fit most front pockets? Just don't want it to print.

Good question.

The answer is no, it won't print. Without having the flat-panel on, it looks like everyone else's pocket holsters, and these don't print at all.

I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this holster...and the price, too. I carried it all day and could hardly tell it was in my pocket.

I have carried 38 snubs in front pocket with no holster and no one notices. People don't walk around looking at pockets. In fact I belive 90+% of People see but don't see. I have had waitress bring me a menu thing Iam a new customer and all I did was go to rest room and return to my same dirty table. Now they have brought me a menu ,water. Came back taken my order, served me. brought coffee refill. but have never looked at me. All they see is somebody sitting down at table. This is the way of most people I don't try to print but Iam not really worried if I do a little.
