Has anyone used a .223 screw-on suppressor on a .22 rifle/pistol? Recommendations or suggestions?
I'd suggest not to do it. Sure, it works-- but boy is it ever front-heavy!
FWIW,
Mike
22 leads a 223 can and will reduce it's effectiveness over time, lead in a 223 can can be a real problem to remove
also i have a friend who "welded" his 223 can to his m16 using the 22 ceiner conversion kit, it took heat/sledge to remove the can from the bilock [strap wrench around can, hammer on wrench handle]

I have one & occasionaly I put it on a .22LR for just a few shots, but, I think the lead could be a problem if you over did it. Tom
Good topic. You have stopped me from making a costly mistake. Thanks!
I had planned to only buy one supressor: for an AR, and then thread and use it on a Buckmark pistol and a 10/22.
Knew I looked in here tonight for a reason.
