First, spinning wheel covers. Now, you gotta be kidding me.

It doesn't do anything for me, but I'm sure some will love it.

One of my old cars didn't need a kit. If you bounced off the rev limiter on a shift it would shoot a big ball of fire out the back on it's own. :)

That shouldn't even be news since people have been doing that forever.

Flames out of the tail pipe have been around for a while. It started with Rat-rods in the 50's and 60's and was done by placing sparkplugs in the exahust hooked to a coil. The way they worked was by reving the motor, killing the spark, and pumping the gas pedal. The carburator shoots raw fuel into the cumbustion chamber, but the lack of spark sends the raw fuel to the tail pipe where its ignited by the extra plugs. It only supplies a momentary flame as the motor is technically no longer running, and relying on the compression (slowing down of the motor) to work. The newer fuel injected cars use propane or other flammable gases to create the flames. It was done for show then, and has recently been revived by the "ricers" as shown in the Hollywood flick Fast and the Furious.

I saw that almost 20 years ago and it wasn't new then (if you look at my profile, I am only 24 and yes I defiantely remember it BECAUSE I was a kid. Kids don't forget things that shoot flames.)

I wouldn't put it on my car, but it is kinda cool. I mean, common, it shoots flames!

That has been around for awhile. I've seen some old muscle cars that it looked particularly good on. Problem is that ricers pick up on something and their stigma ruins it. D*mn ricers. :soap:

Thanks. he has a built-up 390 Ford engine. It's not red metalflake now though. He painted it black primer. Did some minor body adjustments and didn't want primer spots all over, so he painted the whole car. Cars parked for the winter and he's waiting for his new ride to arrive. Got a Trail Blaser SS ordered (391 hp). BTW: he's a police officer and that pic was in front of the police station. ;N
