Are any of the major holster manufacturers making holsters for the P45 yet? Comp-tac? Fist?

I picked up a new P45 with night sights today and had to buy an el-cheapo holster for it.

I have a Comp-tac shirt tucker for PM9 and I really like it. Ideally I would like to get a CTAC for the P45 but it isn't listed on their website and none of the holsters for sale on Kahr's website list the P45.

Check how your P45 fits in a leather holster for a 1911.

So does a P45 fit in a officer's holster?

I emailed Kahr about this, and they said that no one has a dedicated holster our there yet. They did think Mitch Rosen was working on one though...

I'd like to see something from Galco (read: from someone I can afford and don't have to wait a year for).

I have a Kramer belt slide that is made for a K40 that is working out pretty well for my P45. I just stuck it in a plastic bag and left it in the holster overnight. It is a snug fit, but with use and over time, should work out nicely.

I do not intend to advertize Mitch Rosen's products but one product he distributes is the best thing since the proverbial "sliced bread" and that is Leather Lightning.
It is an amazing liquid that when applied to the inside of leather holster makes it so slick that even the tightest fit feels immediately like the pistol and the holster were perfectly matched.
With the cost of $14.00 including shipping is well worth it and would probably last for several applications.
I used it on some custom made Alessi, Sparks and Ken Null holsters and the results were nothing short of miraculous.

I just ordered a ARG slim from Mitch Rosen "he must have a mold/gun to use" . I also picked up a belt and some leather lightning so I guess I'll get to see how well that stuff works . I've never had a Rosen holster before. So I guess I'll see how good it is in a couple of months

I use a Gould and Goodrich Model 801 Yaqui Belt Slide (http://www.gouldusa.com) for my Kahr K9 and I know it fits the P9 as wekk as my 1911's. The screws allow you to adjust the tension and this in the most comfortable way I have found to carry my Kahr.

Bought a P45 this week. I went to the local range that stocks holsters and tried several for fit. I found that a Don Hume JIT slide sized for the Smith and Wesson 439, 3913 and similar sized guns with a squared trigger guard fit just about perfect wit only about 1/8 inch fore and aft room (trigger guard to slide top).
It will do nicely until I get a OWB holster specifically made for the P45.

I've had the same positive experience with Hume's JIT holster, but I've been carrying my P45 for the past couple of months in a JIT cut for the CZ-40B:

Wild Bill makes one and he’s going to be at the Nations Gun show in Chantilly the first weekend in February.
