a little question about suppresors.

i understand the concept about getting permission from the BATF (filling out the appropriate paperwork, whatnot.)

But how do you do this when purchasing a suppresor from an outside company and not a private citizen?

ex. Surefire suppresors.

Only difference is if you are ordering the item NFA from out of state, then it has to transfer to an in state NFA SOT dealer first.

If you find a dealer in FL that has one in stock you buy it and do the paperwork, otherwise you find one in stock from a Surfire dealer in any state, transfer it to your dealer then to you.

I doubt Surfire will deal with your sale directly, they will probably reccomend some stocking dealer for you to buy from.
