View Full Version : Observations on the TP9
After some 300 rounds through my new TP9, I note the following:
1. It is extremely accurate; head shots at 15 yards on sillouettes are routine;
2. It has not had a malfunction of any sort;
3. It feeds well with DPX, ST and 124 gr. GS;
4. I can't perceive the difference between regular and +P's;
5. It "packs" easily.
I have lubed it with Slide Glide Lite. Out of the box it was dry, or so it seemed.

Thanks for the report… I do believe that a TP9 is my next new Kahr purchase.
Is yours the Tactical or Target? (which sites?)
Novak fixed night sights. They are on. 25 yards very accurate, and 7 yards double taps where you want them.

I am tempted by this one. My gun budget has currently moved into the "Do I really need it? I should be selling, not buying" mode. The tactical version (Novak) is VERY appealing to me.
(Got to have control. I can do it. Willpower. Keep the wallet in the pocket. etc.);L

Drofas,
Don't you know too much is never enough.
You can't have too many firearms.

The T9 has become my new best friend, mine has the Mirco adjustable rear sight and is in 9mm, as per T9, I now have a 40 cal version on order,only one I will change this out for is the 45acp when I can get one.
Last check of the range log and now over 4000 rounds thru it, mostly 124 and 147 jhp's standard fps stuff,, about 4 or 5 hundred +p 124's no hick-ups running smooth

VERY, VERY TRUE!!
I certainly agree too much is always too few. My gunsafe has PLENTY of room. My problem is too little wallet. I typically am able to justify it like "this is the perfect pocket carry gun..." or "If the S really does HTF, I have to have that AR to protect the homestead." or "come on, the KT Sub 2000 uses the same mags as my G34. How can that be so bad?"
I can always find more "reasons", just the credit cards are too full.;T
I just received a Haugen IWB holster for my TP9 and tried it last night under a suit jacket. It was like carrying nothing, flat and the grip in tight.
