Urgent spread sheet help request...

I have a statistics project due on Wednesday next week. I have already done all the research and gathered all the data and arranged into a nice listing. I now need to compile the data into a spread sheet and make various charts, graphs, and diagrams.

I do not currently own ANY spreadsheet program and have never used one before.

I need a freeware spreadsheet (preferably one that is dirt simple and easy to understand and use)that can do the following...

Measures of central tendency
Measures of Dispersion and skewness
Hypothesis testing
Probability analysis

I know how to do it manually, but the data set is too large to do with given the amount of time I have.

In the Calc application, you'll get a familiar interface, power for calculations and a huge community of other users that can answer your questions. And it's very compatible with Excel in case you want to reuse or share the spreadsheet.

OpenOffice will do everything you need. When you install it just select the Calc application if you don't need the other stuff. It's pretty straightforward to use but if you get stuck with anything just holla.:)

Thanks guys. I'll download it when I get home tonight. I definitely appreciate the offer to ask additional questions and may take you up on it. This will be my first ever spread sheet experience. It is funny how happily I have been able to get through life while ignoring so much of the computer world ;-)!
