JPoint sight

What a pleasant surprise.
JPoint (formerly Optima 2000) is the new version of the Optima.

I love that it mounts right on the slide with no fancy mounts. The mount goes right into the dovetail of my G34. It weighs 1/2 ounce.
It is the essence of simplicity, NO switches, no adjustments except for windage and elevation. Does not interfere with holstering.

The dot is bright and works in the indoor range and outdoors.

I will get one for my 1911A1 .45

I have had a JPoint on my HK Tac for almost three years know and love it. I use it for IDPA and Plates at our local range. I have a few thousand rounds through the pistol with the sights. I also bought the sight because I suppressed the HK and it's really nice to have a red dot to see over the suppressor. I have changed the battery for the first time a few months ago.
