Another option is TopGlock.com. They may be a site sponsor as well. JUst something to consider.

$470 plus $15 shipping plus an average of $25 for a FFL transfer equals $510.

Local shops sell them for that.

Dont forget there is taxes on that $510.00, and probably only 2 mags at local shops. If you look around you can get transfers for $10.00 but with gas prices the way they are may not be woth it.

Well, this is always a dilemma: saving few bucks going through Internet or buying locally. If you have your favorite range/gunshop, go there. Yes, you overpaying $50, but get a lot of added value: nice professional advice, all kind of tricks to learn, instant repair/problem solving. Usually, some discounts on membership/classes too. Shop first locally, then look outside. If internet-purchased thing broke, or just does not perform well, where you will go?
I always try to support local guys first; within the common sense limits, of cause: no FMJ practice ammo for 15 bucks/50, and no $200 holsters; I'm going internet to shop for things like this. ;a

bogey,
You should check out the Houston guns shows, even with night sights you should have been able to get closer to $500. New without night sights were $450 at the last show I was at.

I looked around a couple of days and ended up ordering my first G19 from www.topglock.com ($450 + $25FFL + $15s/h = $490).

I tried to first pick one up locally to avoid the FFL/shipping hassle but everyone was out of stock ($499 + $43.90taxes = $542.90) except for 1 gun range that wanted ~$600 ($550 + $48.4taxes = $598.40).

Just so you know, topglock.com (and allglock.com - they're the same company) take 10 business days to process your order before they ship it. Then it takes another 3-5 business days before it gets to your FFL. So if can't stand the wait and you have your CPL, I'd definitely recommend springing the extra $50 for instant gratification from your local dealer. ;Q

10 days to process? That's BS and I thought handguns once shipped had to be no more then in 2 days to FFL.

Standard shipping (3-5 business days) for handguns is advertised on several internet sites (check out www.glockmeister.com for another example).

Yeah the 10 business day processing time sucks. It doesn't say it anyplace on the website (that I found) - it's at the top of the order confirmation email you receive.

I bought my G 19 locally, but recently I have purchased Sig Trailside for my wife [did not find locally] online from www.budsgunshop.com . It was delivered to FFL in 4 days (to Oregon!). BTW: they have all kind of G 19 in stock. I seriously doubt that thing about 10 days.

*shrugs* believe whatever you want. Here's the email. I suppose you could next claim that it is a fake. :( If you really care, call up the company for confirmation. Their toll-free number can be found on their homepage.

well, I believe it because Topglock is very, very slow in shipping and shipping the wrong order. They have forced me to shop elsewhere when shipping is so slow and orders shipped 2 X are still wrong:soap:

I'm sorry, I did not get the message at first (thought about FFL hussle);g ; this e-mail (quote by JMF30; thanks!) makes it clear. Well, now the lession is clear: topglock has very attractive prices and processing/shipping that sucks.
Thank you for information.
