Iam cold and bored so lets add another thread. I will not say at this time what I use to lube my Walthers/Interarms PPK/S . I want to know what you use and if you carry does it stay on weapon or run off.
I will at some time name mine but for now interested in your thinking.

seriously I use militec for most of my lubrication. GLUBE seems to bear a strong resemblence. I think it has some Teflon in it, doesn't gather "crude". Nice hi tech lube. Slick, I like it. It stays on the weapon and off my suit (yea I wear a suit)

I clean it with Break Free CLP then use RemOil and ProLong to lube it.

Wipe rails lightly, portion of barrel that contacts the slide, flip it upside-down, and hit the underside of the exposed slide when pulled open. Cycle a few times, wipe, stand on end with slide closed, allow excess oil to run out. Wipe it off again.
And make sure the mag well and mag is clean.
Oil? Hoppes or whatever I feel like smelling at the time.

Well I have found on my carry guns that all the oil type products run off and after a couple of days . Your pistol is dry. I now clean and then use a very small amount of Castol, wheel bearing grease. I mean just a lite coating on rails barrel ect. Since I started useing I have not had any failer to feed with any of my carry pistols.. Might sound crazy but works for me I still use a drop of oil each side of hammer and trigger But rest I give fine coat of grease. So drop on down to Jiffy Lube abd get you PPK a grease job.

I keep it simple and use Break Free on all my guns. I do use a penpoint type oiler to just put a small amount on the slide rails or wherever. I got it a Sears for about $10. I love it because otherwise, I tend to put too much oil on my guns and they drip for days.;a

MichealT It's Me Beretta92, I'm SIG P229 Here at Glock Talk, Yeah I have one of those too, An Arotec Glock 19..
I Give most of my pistols/revolvers the Militec-1 Treatment, Were the parts are cleaned with Alcohol then coated with Militec & then heated in a oven @ 170 degrees, I do this three times, after cooling I buff them dry with a cloth, I then use TW-25B on all the parts that get lubrication, I found out about the TW-25B as it's what SIG Sauer Uses on it's pistols from the factory, It works great on Stainless Steel..
Here's a pic of the Walther undergoing the Treatment after being totaly dismantled..
MichealT The Walther Forum is down or Something??, I've tried all day to get on there from three different computers, No Luck!!

SIG P229 what do you do in you're spare time :)
P.S. Those ARE some PISSA Grips! Very Nice!
I'll second the Break Free, also known as CLP. I use it on all my firearms.
For stainless, I give a liberal coating on the rails and internals, nothing at all, or a very light coating on the exterior surfaces.
Blued guns get a coat of CLP on the external surfaces, as well.
