View Full Version : which night sights?
On Kahr's web site they have the big dot tritum and the regulars. I'm only planning on having the front one installed, (unless someone talks me into both.) Are the big ones too big for the short barrell??

I've got the big dots on my MK9 and I shot a 588/600 in a PD qualification... If you do not install the rear sight then (IMHO) the gun will not shoot to POA... But then again, it might...
Why would you NOT install the rear sight...?
I've tryed this on S&W snubbies where there is no place for a rear sight (short of some real $$$ gunsmithing) and it makes it dam difficult.
No the big ones are not too big for the short barrel, but I think the small ones would work equally well. The big ones just might be quicker to acquire in a stressful situ. at the expense of accuracy (which at that time you will NOT need IMHO). The small ones will be good too IMHO. I've got the big on the MK9 and the small on the S&W snubbies and they are both good (with the exception that the lack of a rear sight on the snubbie causes a split second of front sight searching...
