View Full Version : Used PM9, to buy or not.
My local gun shop has a like NIB PM9 manufactured in 2002 with night sights. I can get it for $500 plus tax and since the SN indicates the barrel needs to go back for a fluff and buff, that will take some time after I get it. I'm thinking it is not a bad price. The PM9 w/o NS I got a couple of months ago was $565.00 plus tax. Any thoughts would be appreciated. The PM9 I have functions flawlessly and I could ship the slide out for NS and save a lot of $$$. Thanks.

This guy has some great prices. Wish I would have seen this last week when I laid down $589.00 for a NIB PM9 w/N.S.s :(

Price seems a little high to me but not by much. I picked up my P40 Covert Test Fire for $419.00 plus tax at my local dealer two weeks ago. At the time I put the P40 Covert in layaway, they a had a NIB P40 Covert for $539.00.
I saw a PM9/DLC & NS Test Fire for, I believe, $539.00 on Saturday. But to be honest I don't look at 9mm's much. My local dealer has a large selection of polymer test fires in both 40 and 9.
I've seen a few used Kahrs in the used section over the past year and none have been over $399.00. The last one I saw was a MK40/NS that went for $399.00. The used Kahrs never last long.
Where in NC are you?
AZ,
I'm in Fayetteville. It is tempting, but already have one. Save the $$ for something down the line maybe.

Agreed and as you said you could always have night sites installed on the one you already own for a whole lot less $.

If you already have one that works, I would just send in the slide to get new sites put on. The price sounds a little high to me. I bought mine NIB for $620 otd with N/S and DLC finish.

Yea like a AR15 rifle, you can get a nice complete kit (http://www.model1sales.com/catalog-list.cfm?Category=01&Subcat=16-inch%20C%2EA%2ER%2E&storeid=1)
with a Stag lower receiver (http://www.title2.com/Stagarms.html) for around $550. Or a pistol in 40S&W or 45ACP. :)
Got an RRA M4gery and will just get some NS on the PM9. Thanks for the feed back.

FYI.
I went to my local range/dealer today. The PM9 test fire w/DLC and NS is gone but he does have a PM9 test fire w/DLC but without NS for $469.00.
