View Full Version : Kahr Magazines
I have a T9 and want to get a couple more mags for it. Does anyone know where I can get magazines, other than Kahr (too much $).

I have not tried them, but I have a couple 10 rounders on order.
Ah yes! I couldn't remember the name, but now it hit me like a ton of bricks. Thanks, man.

The 8-round K9 magazines are the same as those used in the T9. I bought K40 magazines for my T40 and they work just fine.
Enjoy!

How is "Pro Mag's" quality? I've seen non-Khar-manufactured mags for sale at gun shows, but just didn't trust them. I decided to go straight to the source & bought two more from Kahr.
And yes, it WAS expensive. But I figured in the piece-of-mind that I was paying for, as well.

I got two 10 rounders the other day to test for plinking. They weren't dependable and the followers are different. The followers are not reinforced with metal where they hit the slide stop and start getting a dent that will probably only get worse until the slide won't lock back. So I replaced the followers with some extra Kahr followers, took 1 loop of the spring to make up for the slightly longer Kahr followers. I also needed to do a little work on the magazine bodies as it was too narrow in a few places and caused feeding problems. Looks like I have everything working, but I need to go to the range again for the acid test.
So in a nutshell, the mags need work to be usable in my experience and probably should have their followers replaced. OK for practice, but probably not carry.
Just got my factory Kahr mags for my T9 & PM9 from dnrsports.com. Factory mags for a decent price and quick shipping.
