Greeting to all BOGs,

I am new in this forum and with your indulgence I would just like to ask some questions regarding reloading as follows:

1. Anyone using a Lee Progressive 1000 reloader? Feedback regarding this brand?
2. Local dealer of the Lee Pro 1000?

Thank you very much in advance.

Welcome to the forum!;c

There is one BOG member who uses Lee progresive and based on his last post, he is happy with it. I use Lee hand press and it works all the time. I don't think there's any dealer locally for Lee products. Too bad you can't order online, well you can but it will be confiscated once it gets there, the anniversary offer is only $100. All you need are the dies and powder to get you started.

Good luck with your search.

I use LEE as well. I reload in the warmer months to last me the winter. Using a manual press makes more consistent ammo especially for precision shooting (50 yard bullseye). The progressive is definitely faster.

If you can, go with the Dillon. I did purchase the Lee 1000
progressive but I sent it back...It was just too complicated
to set up and the directions that came with it was not too
clear...specially for a beginner. I saved up a little bit and
purchased the Dillon 550 thru ebay. I am very happy with it and
I can make 100 rounds of 9mm in less than 15 minutes. I have
a Lee Turret press also which I use to reload 45 acps. On my
Dillon, I use all Lee dies for the 9mm and the 357 magnum. Good luck.

Welcome MDAP713!
Our gun club had a Lee Single Stage press and a 1000 before. Too complicated for most members who roll their own. Was eventually sold by our Treasurer and the club bought a Dillon. We still have the Lee single stage though.:)
