How many have converted their G-35s to shoot 357 sig? Is it worth the extra cost or are you better off staying with the .40 For those that have converted their gun, what type of ballistics are you getting-especially from using DoubleTap ammo.

I enjoy shooting my G35 .357sig. However that is only with factory ammo. I am so frustrated trying to reload that cartridge that I'm about ready to throw in the towel on it.

Winchester Factory 125 gr. JHP average 1476 fps out of this gun.

I have a KKM .357 sig barrel for my M35. It is a relatively cheap way to shoot another cartridge without having to get another gun. Basically it's just another gadget - neat but not needed.

Thanx for the input. I think it would be cool to get a ported 357 sig barrel for the 35, with that big gap on top of the slide. It should help with the muzzle flip.

Reloading .40 can get you 1500 fps with a 135 gr. JHP from a 4" barrel. I imagine a G35 with almost 5.5" worth of barrel would do even better. 1600 fps?

I'd say it would throw a 155 (hot reload) at going on 1500 fps.

My point is you don't need the 357 SIG for speed!

The only reason I bought my G35 was for the .357Sig Conversion. I've carried a 32C concealed for a while, but enjoy carrying my 1st gen 17 more, so I sold the 32C to get the 35.

I've always thought the G35 was the perfect platform for the .357 SIG.

It would be great if Glock thought so.

I am selling my Jarvis .357sig barrel for the G35 to help fund a AR-15 project.

If anyone is looking for one:

I'm considering getting a G35 as my next Glock (I just got a G23 for Christmas!) and when I do, I plan on getting the 357 SIG conversion barrel as well. I can't justify the cost of a complete pistol in 357 SIG at this time, but it sure would be fun to be able to shoot 357 SIG on occasion.
