Yup, there I was last Saturday on our range going thru a "Shoot and Move" course. Everything was cadillacing right along and then I got what I thought was a jam.
No, it wasn't a jam, the damn trigger wasn't returning to the forward, fire position. It just remained to the rear!?!?! Turned out to be a broken trigger spring.
Guess I can't complain though. I purchased the weapon, new in 1986 and have put over 20,000 rounds (easy) thru it. Fired in competition, carried as my primary duty as well as off duty weapon.
Took it to Gunmasters in Plano, TX and got it fixed for $1. I have toyed with the idea of going to a 23 but I just can not get past the fact that I know, exactly where my round is going to impact EVERYTIME I pull the trigger on my 19. It has served me well, I know it will continue to do so.
