Petition for a NEW Forum Name!

Alright guys, let's make this official. Let's come up with some good new names for the G-17 forum and then we'll vote on the ones we think are best. Afterwards, we'll ask the forum administration to change the forum name based upon this thread.

I think most of us agree that "Founder's Club" isn't a good name. Time to brainstorm. Let's hear your ideas.

Here's a few to consider:

The Original Club
Club One Seven
Club 17
Club Seventeen
The Magnificent 17 (a pun off of the old western movie "The Magnificent Seven")
The Mother of All Glocks
The One Seven

I don't know that the Founders Club is that bad of a name.

I just think that since the 17 was the first handgun Glock made the Founders Club should be the first forum in the club house. Not burried down near the bottom.

I agree. Problem is, no one knows what the Founders Club means unless they read the fine print underneath it.

I like simply the G17 Club.

Yeah I vote for The Magnificent 17 too. At least it has "17" in it. It's hard to guess what the Founder's Club is for until you read the description. It sounds more like a club about Mr. Gaston Glock.

But most importantly, this forum needs to be moved closer to the top... like right underneath State Clubs.

well to tell ya the truth i didnt want to go with the founder club, but i had to give it a name quickly and my mind was blank. My fault!
In hind sight ive thought about it and i was thinking that The Flagship Forum would be kind of a good name. What do you think??

The Glock 17 is the Flagship of Glocks line right???

My fourth Glock and I finally got the one that started it all...the G17. Figured with two baby Glocks and an old G19, it was time to get the 17.

Had to seach to find this forum, so I add my voice to those who think it should be called the G17 Club or something similar.

So far its looking like the G17 Club is an overwhelming winner. If everyone is in agreement ill have Sidearmor change the name.
