Hey guys I need some advise. I am trying to sell this rifle and need an approximate value.

Ruger 30-06, Model 77, Mark II, all weather stainless with composite stock. Fired less than 12 times, yes only 12. With a leupold 3 x 9 Vari-X II silver matte finish scope.

Thanks, David

Dave,

Although you only got 6 shots through it.... It is considerd 'used.'
In Texas, the gun with the scope, in really "top cond." will go for about 600.00/675.00. "Settle for 600.00" That's 400.00 for the gun, and 200/250 for the scope.

The scope, NEW, is almost the price of the gun NEW.
The 'Used Ruger' without the scope, can be had ( in these parts anyway ), for about 400.00, The leupold 3 x 9 Vari-X II, will almost be the best selling point for ya, and even though you paid through the nose for that scope, again, 'here,' add another 250.00 for the scope, which is almost half what you gave for it new.

I don't know about your part of the world, but "here" that is about it.

If it were mine, 600.00 would be the 'bottom dollar,' and i would start at 700.00. Remember, they can get an all NIB gun and scope, for not much more than this... So, you will have to eat some of it my friend! Although it is NEW to you, it ain't NEW to someone else. ;)
