.17 Hmr

Hello fellow BOGs.

Is there .17 HMR (Hornady Magnum Rimfire)already available in the Phils? It claims or boasts of better ballistics than .22 magnum, and there are lots of guns made for it.

The 17HMR may have better ballistics but it costs about the same as a box of 9mm. My local dealer has commented that sales of firearms using this caliber is not that great. YMMV.

armscor sold Hornady .17hmr rounds at the last gunshow. Maybe you could check them out at January's gun show
