Definitely the right move.
Congrats!
I just traded my 27 in on a new 19C. Also, definitely the right move.
I was thinking of doing the same thing but I decided to keep the 35 and I just went and bought a 19.
Put the first 150rds through it tonight and ;z I am very happy with it.
All stock for now, was thinking of adding some upgrades but I the way it shoots I dont know what I can do to it to get it any better.
I know what I can do to make things better More Ammo to practice more.

I stuck a 3.5# connector in, bought a year's range pass and hit the range on the way home from work 5 days a week, 100 rounds of CCI Blazers at a time. I'm improving slowly but unsurely.
just got back from the range a while ago and run 100rds of win115gn white box and 50 rds of Wolf ( steel case stuff ) I have herd that Wolf is bad for your G and others say they have had no trouble at all with it.
Well the Wolf shot better groups than the winchester, I have about about 350 or so rounds through the 19 now and absolutly no FTF or FTE what so ever.
I have heard that you can damage the extractor running Wolf but I think the extractor has a higher RockWell than the steel cases do so I dont know how it can damage. if it does after thousand and thousands of rounds I guess I can replace it for a couple bucks.
Is there any one shooting Wolf ammo in there 19 ? if so have any comments on it ?

Wolf 115 gr ball is more accurate than Wally White Box out of both my 19 and 26. The steel cases are soft steel. The newer Wolf is polymer coated and not as nasty as the old lacquered coated. I posted a specific question about Wolf in Glocks here and got mixed replies, from more-power-to-it to oh-my-god-you'll-break-the-gun. Some even raised the ? of lacquer buildup in the chamber but that will happen with any gun you don't clean properly. Not worried about that, if I shoot it for 2 hours I should be able to dedicate 15 minutes to a thorough scrub-down.
The only "bad" thing about Wolf is that they don't yet make it in .357 Sig for my 33.
My 35 is up For Sale in the firearms for sale section
