Which rubber grip for SP-101?
I need to change the grips on my SP-101. The problem is in my TRIGGER FINGER. 30 years ago I ripped the pad off my trigger finger and had to haved it sewn back on. Trigger pressure on it does not feel right.
When shooting single action the pressure on the pad feels correct.
On the knuckel/joint is extremelly painful. Back of the knuckel/joint puts the grout 3 inches off center.
Which[PACHAMYER or,HOGUE] will put the trigger just forward of the knuckel?

My trigger finger is 3 1/4 inches long
To my knuckel is 2 1/2 inches

MADISON,

I'd get the Hogue.

I think that Pachmayr Compac grips are the best rubber SP101 grips.

I have had 3 or 4 pairs of Pacs on 1911's and revolvers. IMHO they don't compare to Hogues! If you want slick and hard go for the Pacs, and if you want rubbery and tacky go with the Hogues.

My wife uses the soft rubber Hogue Monogrip on her SP-101. Fits much better than factory. I, also, like the sticky feeling of this grip.

If none of the aftermarket rubber grips work, try various grip sleeves, as made by Hogue and Pachmayr, over the factory grips. I have friends who use these sleeves over the slick-finished Barami Hip Grips on S&W snubbies.
