There is. You tend to shoot more. You tend to spend more.

My carry ammo in my carry gun. My G17 is stoked with Corbons and my 32 rounder reserve mag is loaded with the same stuff alternated with S&B FMJ for every 3 Corbons. The only side effect it has is on my wallet.;f

The profile seems to be aggressive. Does it affect feed reliability?

how about lead bullets? is it not advisable for g17?

hi klintph, the only side effect that i can think of is that it tends to thin out my wallet at a faster rate:) 300 rounds of 115gr +p corbons through a g19 without a single hiccup is reliable enough for me.

most people will advise against using lead. but i use it just fine, the barrel needs a bit more cleaning after about 100 rounds.

It's corbons for me as well. tested 20 rounds and no problems. Lead is a different story. My cousins stock barrel KB'd with less than 100 rounds fired na lead heads. lead build up was severe.

hi bikethief
what do you mean by KB'd? so I guess after firing 50 rounds of lead then I should clean the barrel thoroughly. SO do you think with that setup there wouldnt be any even a slight bad effect on the barrel?
di rin kasi biro ang glock mahal din naman kasi kaya gusto ko malaman yun mga di advisable na bala para maalagaan yung baril.;Q

Whats the most expensive bullet type that is safe to use on a glock 17 out here on the philippine market? On the opposite side the cheapest I got is armscor 124 gr 9mm FMJ worth 10 peso per bullet.;)

IIRC the most expensive would be the Glaser Safety Slugs selling at P200 - P300 apiece.

Armscor bullets are great too. Very positive feedbacks on the performance of their bullets in their current production runs.

You think they're aggressive, you should see those Flying Ashtrays. On the side though, I thought I saw those .45 ACP 200 grs.Flying Ashtray at Hahn though I think they're locally loaded. I think they used the bullet head as a component. I'd like to try those damn wide mouthed hollowpoints and see If they will feed in my .45

Originally made by Speer. Not all guns could cycle them though. Maybe that's why they were discontinued.
