I haven't touched my AR for weeks. Been busy with work, family and christmas preparation.
Now, does anyone have an idea what I could do (=buy!) to my sweet rifle to "re-light the fire".
Current setup:
Bushmaster Patrolman's Carbine 16"
Aimpoint CompML2
ARMS40L BUIS
RMTactical

How about a Houge or Pachmeyer grip? Small change but might make it all that more "special"

Buy a half dozen or so mil-surps. Shot them for awhile and when you go back to the EBR - wow. The oldies are fun and all but talk about ARpreciation.
That or SBR & suppress it. Either way you'll be out a butt-load.

Before you ADD anything more I'd start by TAKEING OFF that BSA laser! ;P
I have to agree with Michigan. Using a BSA laser on that carbine is like taking a new Chevy Z-71 4x4 and adding a furry pink steering wheel cover. It's just not right man.....

Ditch the laser.
Add a Surefire fore-end rail, and a vertical foregrip, and a Surefire light.

Ergo isn't called Ergo for nothing. The grips seem to mold to my hand every time I wrap it around them.

An "M4" .22 cal longrifle upper. One could shoot off the deck or in the basement, with a proper backstop and venting.

I've thought about buying a .22lr upper. That way I can shoot my M4's cheap.
I am going to order one, dang it.
Build a 9MM AR.You may never fire a .223/5.56 AR again.They're that cool.
OOPS!"ditch the lazer".Not a bad idea. But ditch the red dot first.Especially if it's "co-witnessed".Get a scope and dial it long, keep the irons short.Dual purpose instead of useless redundacy.

You're right about the laser. I use that on my Ruger MKII .22 pistol. I just tried it on when the picture was taken.
Sometimes I have a tactical flashlight on that rail, but mostly I have nothing at all.
