I have a Surefire E1e. What would the benefit be of putting the LED conversion head on it?
If this is in the wrong forum, i apologize.

Pro:
1) Way longer battery life.
2) Virtually impervious to shock.
Con:
1) More expensive initially.
2) Still not as bright as incandescent, but getting better!
3) If you need a tactical "flood", LED's fall short.
Years back, I replaced every flashlight in the house and cars with LED units, and have never had a burn out or dead battery since.

P.S. I think this is the logical forum for this topic. But that's me.

The KL1 head on the E1 body is actually twice as bright as the stock E1 and runs just as long, if not longer.
