Blackhawks! Santa was good to me!

Well, I'm pleased as punch, Santa delivered a couple of Blackhawks to me. One in 357 and the other in 45 colt. Both with 4-5/8" barrels. ;f ;f

357- I loaded up some 158g LSWC under a few different powders (231, #5) so I'd have something to play with at the range later in the week. I'm planning to put an order in for bullets (and powder if need be) so I figured I'd ask if anyone here has the 4-5/8" BH and what they like to feed it?

45 Colt- Wow, that's a big hole! New caliber to me and I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do. Any favorite loads for Hunting? Targets? Quiet(er) plinking?

Merry Christmas!

Santa brought me some new stag grips for my Bisley Blackhawk in 45 Colt. There is so much potential with a 45 Colt. Unfortunately, the cheapest ammo I found is at Cabela's. 50 cowboy loads for $15. The best deal I found for hunting or defense is at Conley Precision Cartridge Co. (cpcartridge.com) where you can get 50 HOT rounds between $20-30.

Post some pics, please! Although, envy may pump through the veins of the other GT members.
