Weaver mount system for new style Ranch Rifle

The new 580 series Ranch Rifle Mini 14 has created a need for additional accessories.

The built-in scope ring mounts will require a new weaver rail mount system, to replace the old side mount units.

Has anyone seen a new rail mount system which will attach to the new built-in scope mounts to allow the use of wider variety of optics with the new Mini 14? Ideally, it would allow the use of the iron sights too.

I'm considering getting a mini-30 and saw this site as I browsed around looking for optics options on the mini-30.

I got one of these for my Mini-30

but it looks very similar to the Weigand, exactly the same purpose. Worked great, provided for use of the iron sights, etc.

Went through three different red dots but kept having to deal with batteries, no good when on a hunting trip. Went to a big ass scope, had fun at the range, then realized I'd ruined my handy little brush gun.

Finally said heck with it and went to a 2X Simmons shotgun scope using the rings Ruger ships with the Mini-30.

The rail is FAR more flexible and gives you a very solid base for all sorts of interesting optics. Ruger's dovetail design is freaking SOLID, I wish other mfg's did this.
