I just picked up a used Colt Delta Elite 10mm and I'm looking for a conversion barrel so I can shoot .40S&W's for practice. Who makes a conversion barrel for this pistol and where can I buy them?
I might be out of line here....but may I suggest to spend your money on www.doubletapammo.com instead of a 40 short and weak barrel? Why have a Delta if you want to shoot a .40? Sorry...thats just me and my .02 cents

Because I like to shoot my gun. I don't have a lot of money. I can buy 250 .40S&W for $35 NEW from Remington locally. I have not looked at budget ammo from DoubleTap, but I'm sure it's not that cheap.

And thank you for saving me from myself and judging me. Now tell me I should spend all of my time cranking the handle of a progressive loading press and vacuuming powder out of the carpet in my apartment.
OK....sorry to anger you, my intent was to not save you from yourself or judge you. However, a quick look at 4 good name manufacturers of barrels show you will spend 150 to 200 on a .40 barrel, then lets say another 50 to 100 to have it properly fitted. Good Luck on your project.
