I found a beautiful Gen 2 Glock 17 in a local gun store. She is black with a slide a little darker than stainless. She's got nightsights and a black ported barrel sticking out the end. I saw her and I fell in love, head over heels.

On Friday, she will be mine :)

Well didja get it or not. BTW where the h#&$ is everybody? I know there are more G17s out there than this. We can do better than this.

Kerryb, sounds like you did what I did. I bought an old proof marked 17, sent it off tro tripp research after many rounds later, got it back and put in the chrome pin set from Lone Wolf and I am in love. I went with Tripp;s cobra chrome and I think it is fantastic so I sent my 19 there for the same treatment. I have replace every spring in both the 17 and 19 and even sent the 19 back to the factory just to make sure everything is OK, it got a clean bill of health. The will both be back to the range soon.
