Mini 14 rear sight

Greetings. I have a Mini 14 non ranch in stainless, model 196. The opening of the rear sight seems two small for fast target acquisition. Would any of you fellas happen to know where I can purchase a rear sight disk with a larger opening? Thanks.

I don't know of an aftermarket disk, but you could order a couple from Ruger, drill them out yourself. Play around with it till you find the right hole size.
