Can you mount a Saiga stock on a 1.6mm Global?

It can be done. You will probably have to shave down the sides of the part that goes into the receiver. If the top screw does not hold it in, might have to add a lower tang ( a la milled receiver ) to the receiver. Global's 1.6 mm is a bit narrower on the inside than the Saiga and the "standard" stamped receiver hence handfitting of the stock would be required. It will take major mods to put the Saiga grip cover plate and trigger system on a regular milspec receiver, a bit more than changing a Saiga to milspec configuration.
