If you can find it. Seems as though Aim Surplus doesn't have any!
Boy wouldn't that be funny! Everyone with their chinese rifles and all of a sudden no more ammo for them.

Here's the list of stuff I bought at real bargains(?)-

1. Iron Sights .40 barrel - Twin Pines - P 8,100 (inc. tax)
2. 10 pcs. 9mm ammo box - True Weight - P 850 @ P 85 ea.
3. 100 rds. 9mm S&B JHP - PB Dionisio - P 1,800 @ P 18 ea.
4. 100 rds. 9mm Remington - PB Dionisio - P 1,800 @ P 18 ea.
5. Bo mar BMCS 1 - True Weight - P 4,500
6. 2 guncases - Hahn - P 1,686.60 @ P843.30 ea.
7. 1000 pcs. 9mm FMJ heads - Armscor - P 3,200 @ P3.20 ea.
8. SS Magwell - Shooter's - P710
9. 4 JR Speed mag pouches - PB Dionisio - P 3,240
10. 3 G17 mags - Trust Trade - P4,500 @ P1,500 ea.

Was toying with the idea of buying a hi-cap frame from Shooter's for only P7,500 and experiment with it but ran out of moolah. ;f

You'll need pants with deep pockets when you go there.

All the Glocks were being sold at reduced prices. ;P

Trust Trade had an array of Taurus' at very reasonable (and tempting) prices. A lot of new models including .22 rifles.

Norcs of all configurations were everywhere too and were flying off the shelves because of their bargain prices. Their shotguns look good and robust.

12 rounds of HEAT ammo 40 S&W
12 rounds of Talisman Hallow Point 40 S&W

And toying with the idea of getting a Beretta M21 Cal.22 for my wife she likes it a lot when we were there trying it out.

Partial report, pictures later and pics of my baby in it's cradle Glock 23

Batangueño, Pepe and Darwin, If I was still living there, I'd buy the same. Your pistols look sweeeeet!

I'm happy to see prices of firearms and parts are not that expensive. It's maybe the effect of the assault weapons ban in the US that was grandfathered. Firearms manufacturers and other industries dependent on it now have a sense of security about the future of the industry. And the peso-dollar exchange rate has also been improving to the peso's advantage.

BTW isn't it detrimental to the trigger mechanism the way they "disable" the trigger by using a cable tie?

When I was still in the Philippines, Twin Pines Bacolod did that to all of their guns for extended periods of time. I pity the DA/SA pistols. The Beretta pistol that they had on display, had a weird trigger pull after we tried it.

They should have used trigger locks.

hehehehe i thought i'd post here about my gunshow day...

anyway here it goes...

nashe, surprise surprise, came thru with my order for a barsto g22 barrel, at first i thought it needed fitting, but it was just tight and i just got it to fit here at home, i'll post pics when i have the films developed, low tech camera ko hehehehe.

the only downside was i did not let jane right down the price that we agreed upon, and pinatongan nya ng 500 for processing fee daw kasi nahirapan sila sa customs, so lumabas na 15,500 damage ko;g

nakabili din ako ng bagong corbon 150grains at 1200fps, the bullet is made by sierra, not nosler;f

and a pascual dual mag holder for my rifle cos binigyan ako ng bayaw ko ng 2 mags sa iloilo;f

afterwhich a friend met me there, he was a newbie and he wanted a semi-auto pistol, budget nya 20k, so pumunta ake ke deenoh, paul was also there, i asked for there advice and deenoh pointed me to the norinco cz clone, to make a long story short deenoh gave it to us for 19k complete with papers etc.;f

deenoh/paul thanks so much pala, top of mind ko that day was the armscor all steel da/sa 9mm, it was going for 19k unit price only, buti nalang you guys pointed me to the right direction, ang norc pala forged steel pa!!!;f

thanks again guys!!!;f

atmarcella,
thanks, pero wala na yung mags ng g22 kanina sa trustrade nung pumunta ako.

I saw the steyr ang ganda ng feel sa kamay medyo malad lang ng konti pero parang masarap iputok.mas madali ibalik sa point of aim.
I also saw The Sti edge sa WCS, seems like a good deal kasi buo yun galing sa sti hindi halohalo yung parts tapos around 50,000 less kesa magpabuo sa sti dealer dito. I guess talagang mas mahal pag custom made, but if you want a pure sti, this seems to be a good idea.by the way meron bang tungsten recoil master gawa yung sti? kasi sabi nung tindero sa WCS tungsten recoil master daw yung nakakabit sa edge eh, nung sinabi ko iba yung tungsten guide rod sa recoil master, parang gusto pa ako awayin at nawalan na sya ng gana ipakita yung mga gamit nila.

There was last Saturday. If not available na, suggest you order and get from their store na lang. They even had the Glock 36 mags which normally is not available. Got the surprise of my life when I saw Glock mags at P1,500 only at the Trust Trade booth. :)

mtho,

Thanks for the heads up. May pag sasabihan ako tom morning na wag mag imbento ng sagot kung hindi alam. Honestly I myself do not know the answer to this tungsten question but I have already emailed STI to clarify.

Hope everyone had a great time sa show! I had a blast seeing some of you after a long time. Si Saruman nakita ko kanina for the first time in almost two years. Hope to see the rest of the other BOGs tom.

ive seen the norinco nz85 @ wsc i inquired about it sabi ng sales person its 1:1 daw sa cz85 how true? sulit ito for ipsc shooting or if the budget is tight and you want a reliable gun get norinco from sir deenoh

glock magazines are cheap @ 1.5k each (trust trade)

steyr pistols are one to get if budget allows (get it from sir deenoh)

s&b bullets @ pb dionisio P 18.00/each hollow point

armscor pistols are also ok para sa mga mcolikot and ok na for base gun

guys, what do you think of the remington UMC na binebenta sa PB ok ba yun?

sir deenoh,
No problem, I'm acctually glad to see boung sti here. kasi puro custom made ang nakikita ko and sobrang mahal. galing nyo nga pati steyr meron na din dito. whats next? SVI,springfield, rockriver, sig o baka HK na medyo affordable ( I remember when trimark had their booth with the models selling HK halos kapresyo lang sila ng glock and walther P99) sayang nga ni refund ko yung deposit ko after 6 months hindi binibigay yung 45 na HK, dapat tinangap ko nalang yung 40 hk na inaalok nila.

i think pb dionisio still accepts credit card payments for firearms on installment/paylite system. they will release the unit after you've paid for all the installment terms.

i don't know why they won't allow it. it is still a sale!

anybody took note kung anong model yung dalawang tanfoglio na nka "cage" sa armscor booth instead of like other units that are tied and prospective customer can check out and fondle without asking for the sales personnel for assistance.

they have full size polymer grip with accessories rail, shortened slide/barrel and instead of "Ïtaly" ang tatak nya ay "Philippines" i can't seem to find it on the net.

they looks like CZ 100 clone.

thanks sa pag post ng website ng Armscor pero wla po dun ung tinutukoy ko.
nasa website nila are the t-95 and the "force" which they calls as AP9 & APP9 and their'"carry" variant.
wla yung full frame polymer with rail and full lenght yung "hood"

01-17-2006, 19:32
my bad, ung force 99(APP9) mukhang cz100 clones yung "ünidentified" ko force 99 itsura nya pero full lenght ung "hood" (front ng frame ends where the slide/barrel ends) and may rail sya. and yung slide may front cocking serration pa.

None.

Other notable models that weren't there: HK P7, all Kahr models, Keltec P11 & P32, and the CZ100/110. I have also been aching to see a Sig P239. Never had this tiny gem been displayed in all gunshows past.

Despite this, there was a very good display at Trust trade: the Taurus Tracker at 45ACP. At 23K, it's a nice revolver to add to any collection without having to invest in another caliber.

by what I understand from reading about the tracker in the gun magazines, It is designed to be used with a moonclip.without one would make getting the shells from the cylinder very dificult because of how the 45acp is shaped. I don't think i'll function without the moonclips.

IMO, it did not get the attention it deserved because of it's five rounds capacity. ;g

The Taurus Tracker in .45 is good. I just hated the hybrid ports. Perhaps I'll get the Norinco Gov't or Commander with more capacity (7-8 rounds plus 1 in the pipe) as my carry gun. A .45 revolver with 5 rounds is quite impractical compared to a 7 shot 1911 pistol. The moonclips are hard to find, the 1911 magazines are abundant.
