What if any mods can be made to a Glock used for defense without legal consequense in the case of a defensive shoot?

Give him a break. He is a new member with a brand new Glock.
All the information on this forum can be useful.
He may also be used to boards that have slow/light input.
For my two cents:
.25 cent trigger job.

Here goes, break coming up.
Doing anything to your gun to make you more accurate could be viewed along the same lines as practicing. If it's self defense you are already stating that you shot the person on purpose, so trigger pull shouldn't be an issue.
Being more accurate means you are doing your best to avoid collateral damage. It will take the right kind of witness to get this introduced at your trial (God forbid).
Try to avoid anything that affects the safety of your gun, if you accidentally shoot someone then it will be hard to defend your modifications.
The search function will find countless threads about this. Undoubtedly, you will find post that don't agree with my assessment.

The reason for posting in numerous forums is that I assume many people have preferences to particular areas an may never read any others, or like me have time issues and cant read every post in every forum. I was hoping for a wide range of responses that would contain more than a single view point, you response is much appreciated and most likely close to reality in most cases. If the shoot is justified it is justified. I was however looking for any horror stories that may adjust my thinking and save me future problems due to that one thing I didn't think about. I am a small business owner that has a shop in a marginal area and have only in the past owned "race guns" for competition and lived in areas that frowned on gun ownership in general so this will be my first "working gun" and I will probably leave it bone stock and buy a second for play. Sorry if this post has broken any conventions or un spoken Glock talk rules.
