View Full Version : Some interesting tidbits for us Walther fans
The first table compares 40's. The second is 9mm.
Sorry. Couldn't figure out how to get both links under one post.

Nice, except for the error on Group size for the P99.
For which one jack? The 40 or 9mm? I can't shoot that accurately at 25 yards with my my p99, or any other gun for that matter, but of all the 9mm's I've owned past and present, the P99 has been the most accurate. At least for me it has.

For the 9mm:
Largest Group: 1.63
Average Group: 1.65
Actually, believe it or not, groups of under 2" are not uncommon for the P99. I have data from other sources on file that attest to this although most tests show groups in the 2.5" range. Most of the tests I've seen that show groups of less than 2" usually occur with only one particular brand/type of ammo, not 3 like the test here shows. While I don't think this test was biased in any way, I think that the P99 used in this particular test was exceptional. Every manufacturer will occassionally have one gun in a particular model line that will come off the assembly line and perform beyond what is typical for that particular model. I believe that to be the case here.

The largest group is 1.63 so the average cannot be 1.65!
Thats my point.
You are correct. Point taken.
