View Full Version : Thanks DoubleTap
I had a problem with a damaged shipment from DoubleTap (you can read about it HERE (http://glocktalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=482392), but please do not post on that thread as I would like to let it die). I received my replacement ammo today, and would like to express my thanks to MCNETT for taking care of this! Once I got in touch with him my problem was taken care of quickly and professionally. I will not hesitate to do business with DoubleTap again (which is a good thing as they make the best 10mm ammo out there ;f ).
I also wanted to post a pic of the cool headstamp:

My last two orders had normal Starline brass, but my replacement ammo came with DoubleTap headstamps. Very nice :)

I hate to see this. Someone has a problem, rather than call the manufacturer to make it right, their first instinct is to talk **** on the internet.
When they do contact the company, low and behold they make it right and the poster is Mr. Apologetic. The problem is that many have read the **** talkin and may not see the update.
It would be nice if some of these Whiners would give the company in question a call and the opertunity to make it right before talking **** on the internet.

Well Surfinusa, here are the facts. When I called DoubleTap I got a machine, and my e-mails regarding the problem had gone unanswered for 6 days before I posted here. I think that was an opportunity to make it right, and I would not have posted here if I didn't feel I was being ignored.
After posting I got a response from MCNETT(and a BS excuse that my e-mail wasn't working), and another message on DoubleTap's machine (do they ever answer the phone), and 2 more e-mails it got resolved.
Therefore, as it was resolved, I made this post to give Mike credit without rehashing the original problem (or airing the dirty laundry, that you just had to hear). I also posted that Mike had resolved it in the original post, and tried to change the title but only a Mod can do that.
If you think that makes me a whiner, who talks **** on the internet, oh well;Q
Now that you know the facts if you want to edit your post to not insult me, I will delete this one, and we can leave this thread to be a positive one for DoubleTap.
Edited top add if a Mod wants to delete this thread and/or the other feel free.
