View Full Version : Help needed with Vepr muzzle break
Cleaned my Vepr last night. I've been using Shooter's Choice for years. Half-way thru the cleaning I realized that my muzzle brake is now two-tone, half gray, half black. Solvent discolored the muzzle break. That's a Robinson-made part. Russian parts were not affected by the solvent. What gives?
Thanks!

I've never had that happen, but I use CLP for routine cleaning... did you soak it or something? If it bothers you you could call Robinson... if they don't help, maybe you could use something like Gunkote to color it. That or buy a new one, but they cost a lot more than they should.
I e-mailed Rob Arms. We'll see what they do.
talked to RA today. They've never had this happen before. Looks like I got a substandard muzzle break. Their engineers are looking into it. We'll see what happens.

Did you post in the VEPR forum under the handle Vepr Owner? I thought I saw you there.
Yes I did. For some reason that forum does not load for me...
So I was not sure if my post loaded or not, that's why I called them
