Looking for certain type of ammo

I used to be the "spam can" ak ammo that was steel core and wanted more of it.

Is it true that steel core is no longer available in the spam can or is it available?

Ideally it would be better for me to have some type of long time storage since i live in a humid area.

I thought the last steel core ammo imported was Chinese waaaay back in the early 1990's.

If you're talking about bi-metal jacket (copper washed steel)... it comes in and out of spam cans.

I have a case of S&B 7.62 X 39 that is steel core and was made in 02/94. I don't seem to see much S&B 7.62 anymore.
