G 29 with accessory rails

Hi. I'm a new member to this sight although I've been reading the posts for quite some time. I've been dying to get a G29 for years but have been waiting for it to come out with the accessory rails.

Where the heck are they. I have been trying to find a dealer that has the G29 with rails and they all have the same story: "we expect them any time now". Unfortunately, none of them can tell me exactly when that will be.

I am really ticked off at Top Glock. I called them 2 days ago and the guy I spoke to told me they had them and could ship the next day. I talked to my dealer about accepting shipment and also purchased my permit, and when I called back to place the order a few minutes ago, they told me that they haven't begun to receive the new version yet. So now I have already paid for a permit that expires in 30 days, and have no source for the gun that I want.

Does anyone know of a dealer that has the G29 with rails in stock. Please reply asap.

If Glockmeister doesn't have a NIB, your SOL. BTW: I got mine 29 w/ rail directly from Glock on a frame replacment, so they do exist.

are you in the 'Lou? i noticed you said you had to get a permit. sounds like someone who lives in the city....

Purchased my G29 in August 2005 here in the Napa Valley (CA)

I didn't think to ask for anything special. When I picked up my 29, it had finger grooves, and a rail + loaded chamber indicator. It's a small shop, he ordered it, and that might have something to do with it.

I'm sure 10mm moves more slowly than other calibers so any 29's in stock must be old in your area.

I just relocated here from Wichita, KS through my job and I have only been in the city a month or so. I haven't really gotten a chance to check out the places to purchase a G29 yet, but if you wish, I will let you know when I find out, as I am also in the market for a new G29 for my CCW. (I dont know why I sold my G29 before, but I did....)

I can't wait to find a G29, although I dont care if it has rails or not. I'll check on who carries one with rails for you, though.

ps...i have a friend in Halfway, MO, probably close to where you're at.... There ARE deer down there ;f

I just ordered a Glock 29 w/rails from my local dealer (LEO/MILITARY program) and he has a NIB civilian one w/rails in stock if you are interested. They have been in business for over 40 years and is a dealer I like to go to since they are knowledgeable and carry ammo for "rare" guns like the 10mm, .45 gap, and .357 sig. I can't remember the price, but it was in range of regular retail for what a G29 would sell for. This is a dealer I like to support, so that's why I'm taking the time to list them. I'm sure they'd be willing to ship to your FFL :

I go in there all the time... Once a month when I'm working in that area... It is a decent shop...
