I purchased a Walther p990 {dao}9mm. Bought it from CDNN at a great price. Only problem is that long, and hard trigger pull.Ive polished up some internal parts,dry-fired many times, this helped about 20%.Does anyone out there own one? If so what can be done to further improve this trigger system. I dont want to sell it, its well made, shoots good, looks good, feels good in my hand. Like some help.
thanks,

That's the nature of the beast, the 990 is selling for cheap is because of the heavy DAO. The new version P99 DA is better, but DA will always have that heavy trigger feel.

you might want to check out waltherforum.com
I read a thread about how to lighten a QA trigger pull. This might be the same for the DAO...

I do not think there is no way to alter that pull - it is different than the QA - even heavier. - No one has bought that gun because of the pull - and this is why CDNN was selling them so cheap - Some people on that Walther Forum talked about buying one simply because of the price. But, as said above - that is the nature of the beast.
