Thought I would let yall know about this one. It's not up on their site yet, but they are offering a 200gr hp load at 1100fps. So that aughta have it hitting at around 537 ft/lbs.
Here's a pic of some I picked up at the fun show yesterday.

Just a guess, but maybe the 200gn "JHP" is a Hornady XTP? At 1100fps, that velocity matches the 200gn XTP load that Reed Ammo makes (or used to make).

In the pic it looks like Gold Dots.
I don't think Speer makes a .40 cal 200gr Gold Dot. I'm thinking they are mis-marked 180gr Gold Dots. But then again GA advertises they're 180gr Gold Dot load at 1150fps. ^8
I hope they are a 200gr Gold Dot at 1100fps though!
My current carry load is Hornady's 200gr XTP that people with chrono's say gives about 1075fps in a G20. It's $10.50/20.
GA's load would be less expensive and having used GA's 10mm I can say it's good stuff.
I'm pretty sure that Speer doesn't make a 200gn 10mm/.40cal Gold Dot - or we'd have already seen loads using it from Double Tap, Texas Ammo, PowerStrike Ammo, and maybe Corbon.
For a while now I've been thinking about a 200gn 10mm load - other than the 200gn XTPs - that used a Gold Dot or Golden Saber HP, or maybe even an SXT, if Speer, Remington or Winchester would just offer one in that weight for the 10mm reloaders. That's why I mentioned the bullet is probably an 200gn XTP, just because in 10mm there aren't that many out there.
One company that does market a 200gn 10mm HP is Rainier Ballistics. You see their stuff in the Dillon Precision catalog all the time. It's described as a LEADSAFE "total copper jacketed bullet."
Don't know if the 200gn Rainier would hold up to real 10mm velocities - defined as at or above 1200fps. Maybe MCNETT or our 10mm reloading experts who've tried this one can weigh in. :)

They're loaded with Rainier bullets - I asked them when I bought some in December. Still not had time to shoot them, tho.
Thanks, Treeprof. :)
Let us know how the Rainiers hold up when you get a chance to shoot them.

In Rainier's website FAQ, they say that most of their bullets perform best at no more than 1200 - 1250 fps, but I couldn't find anything specific to 10mm/40. I'll have to ask the next time I'm at Ga Arms table (in a few weeks) if this factored into their MV decision. Assuming no other overriding factors, it might be possible to get them to speed them up a tad; they're pretty responsive to their customers.
