Alternative Armorer's Tool

Hey guys...

For those of you who want to detail strip your Glocks but either

1)don't want to spend the money on an armorer's tool or
2)don't want to wait for it to come in

your local Sear's has the perfect alternative for $4.99

An appropiately sized Allen key will do in a pinch as well.

I've used a paperclip before to change out a friends connector. Gotta love the GLOCK

Just start with the pistol - no other tools at all.

Hmmmm....

Are you getting to the locking block pin with it field stripped and then using that to remove the other pins? ***Confused***

The 'tool' used to remove all the frame pins is the extractor depressor plunger.

Now, how do you get that out?

Ah ha!!

Use the corner of the barrel opposite of the feed ramp to depress the sleeve and get the slide backplate off. At least that's what I did.
