Yes but the space left is for my support hand as already mentioned. It leaves me space to manipulate the light by just moving my thumb, and it keeps the front sight from interfering with my support hand. There will eventually be a T1 on this rifle as funds allow.

What kind of barrel is that on this rifle?

Its LWRC's own Ni-Corr coated 1/7 twist barrel, that has been spiral fluted. LWRC does the Spiral fluting to a couple of their rifles. It really helps with reduced weight.....as a matter of fact the SPR weighs less than my DEA model, and the SPR has a longer rail system, and a longer barrel. The spiral fluting really helps.

Here is my most recent stick. A DDM4v5 upper on a Ardel Engineering lower. Good combo for matching color. The lower is built with a DD LPK. Currently it features MBUS front and rear. Havent decided on what to do for optics yet.

I found a 1911 grip adapter and put some nice double diamond cocobolo grips on there (had to trim the left side grip panel at the top to clear the selector). They feel great. When I get my mini draco in next week I'll be putting the same grips on that.

I traded out my Troy DI rails to a DD Omega 9 set. The weight difference is amazing. I also swapped my DD fixed BUIS to a Troy battle sight. I have a couple of the new Troy Battle mags and one is pictured below. At first glance I am less than impressed with the floor plate design and non anti tilt follower. I am going to see how well they function and hold up before I make a final judgement.

I get a tiny bit but not enough to bother changing the insert. When I'm running classes etc I just nudge it forward a tiny bit and it stays locked in enough to not be a bother... If you have more than that just change the insert that came with the x300. If you dont have it I might have an extra that you can have.

Here is my Rifle BOB that was in the first picture just incase you guys ask. Its made by HawkPaks. I contacted Ed and was asking for a custom Rifle BOB. So he threw this at me. When I got it, it was still a prototype to replace the current Rifle BOB. Its out now and its fan-freaking-tastic

The UBR is a fantastic stock. The only reason it isn't my favorite overall is the weight. Great for longer barreled or DMR type rifles though. Have one sitting on my completed lower for my (distant) future DMR build.

It really is an outstanding fixed carry blade. They are all hand made custom blades and sometimes the wait can be a little long but IMHO it is worth the wait.

The rifle is a LMT MRP CQB. I have been a big fan of their MRP chassis for a long time. Very versatile and extremely well made. I also run one in 6.8.

I highly recomend this bag.
I have it loaded out QUITE a bit. so it is more of an extended BOB than an oh crap bag where you need to carry just some extra ammo. I asked Ed to sew on a velcro patch for me as well. Good guy, I like him.
The way I have it set up, fully loaded that sucker will carry 6 ar-15 mags +1 in the internal pocket(you can add more if you like, that one is just loaded with 62 gr HP), 4 glock 19 mags plus a 30 rounder on the inside. plus 20 12ga shells.

If you are going to get one for her for recoil reduction it really does not work for that. They look soft in the picture but in fact they are pretty hard. They are good for fine tuning your LOP though.

It is very tight. Taking it to the range today - may have to elevate it. I like to start as close as I can then move up slowly.

ETA: shoots lovely! Nice firm cheek weld.

Thanks. LWRC only did Multi-Regional Earth anodizing for a short time; they stopped because it was expensive, and sometimes they'd come out looking 4 different shades of MRE, like a SCAR is 4 different shades of FDE. :supergrin:

If your ever in the market for a color that looks exactly like it, Burnt Bronze cerakote is almost an exact match. :wavey:
