View Full Version : favor to ask all who may be so inclined..
as you know, I'm trying to get more awareness about this forum. I'd really like to see it as an active and vibrant part of GT. I think it would be cool for women who may have preconcieved notions of GT being a "Guy's place" to have a spot where they can feel really super comfortable.
To that end, it has been suggested to me that I ask if a bunch of you wouldn't mind adding a link to WI to your sig lines. At least temporarily, as a way to build awareness. I don't want anyone to feel obligated but if you're so inclined I'd appreciate it! ;a :)

I moderate a small firearm forum on a BB - I have one lady who's asking questions about a small firearm to carry - I'm going to direct her (and a few other curious ladies) to here. I'm good at getting them interested, but don't have a lot of the answers - so I try to get them to one of the "female gun sites" The info on here is great.

ok...in the code, between the [b] and the [url... you put in [COLOR=red] (or whatever color you want) Im gonna finish this on the next post, so it doesnt just turn it all red and not show the code
then to finish it, you type [/color] in the same place on the other side.

Color won't change, I don't think.
It's because the text is actually a link and links that have been visited before are the reddish color.
I could be wrong though.

Well, Lady got her's to turn purple, but I told mine to be blue and it's not.

ok, just replace the ( ) with [ ] and change the color to whatever you so desire.

You are welcome - I'm so glad to have a woman's forum to come too...you women are the greatest! It's nice to be able to come and discuss gun related things from a woman's perspective...and not have the guys "oh honey"ing us. I love the guys - don't get me wrong...there are some good ones out there. But sometimes you just need another woman's perspective on how that rangebag looks with your purse! Or what color to get! Or what ammo works best! you get my drift...
